Jane joined the firm as a partner in 2009. Jane's practice includes all aspects of employment law. She regularly advises clients about employment terminations, written offers of employment, constructive dismissal cases and international assignments. She has a particular wealth of knowledge and experience in dealing with employment issues for executives in the financial services industry. She also has expertise advising clients in situations where discrimination, harassment or bullying arise.

Jane has appeared as counsel in all levels of court in Ontario and attends mediations and arbitrations on behalf of clients. Jane has appeared as a panel member on CBC Newsworld, has spoken at various conferences and was the co-author of a paper for the 2007 Special Lectures on Employment Law at the Law Society of Upper Canada. She is a member of the Advocates' Society, Canadian Bar Association and Women in the Capital Markets. She was called to the Bar in Ontario in 1997 after completing her law degree at the University of Toronto.

Jane joined the firm after practising for 12 years with another prominent litigation boutique firm in downtown Toronto where she was also a partner. Jane's prior experience includes carriage of commercial litigation disputes as well as employment law matters.
